Think of traditional mother of the bride dresses and what flashes before your eyes? It will likely be floor-length gowns in demure beige and light-cream colors and age-appropriate designs and cuts. Finally, a word about the color of your dress. Wear any color but white or cream. These are bridal colors and the exclusive prerogative of your daughter. Also, do not wear the same colors as the bridesmaids but a dress that is a shade lighter or darker than theirs is allowed.
